What do you use it for?

Initially, medicinal mud is known in therapy and cosmetology as a healing, highly bioactive mud with a huge content of micro and macro elements, vitamins, hormone- andantibiotic-like substances, and amino acids. Thanks to its fine, oily structure and active exchange of ions, it can be easily absorbed by the skin. The application of mud therapy causes a psychological therapeutic effect in the human body – blood vessels delicate and blood circulation speeds up – tissues and cells receive more oxygen and nutrients. The mud has a strong antibacterial effect, it enriches the body with calcium, magnesium, bromine, iodine, potassium, and amino acids, as well as has an antioxidant impact that improves skin structure, smooths wrinkles, and prevents new aging signs, removes swelling, strengthens nails and hair, normalizes sebaceous gland secretion. The therapeutic effect of the mud helps the immune system to restore. We recommend consulting a doctor, dermatologist, or another appropriate specialist before using freshwater green mud on all parts of the body. Freshwater green mud can be applied locally on joints (shoulder, elbow, hand, finger, hip, knee, foot), and it can be used for bath and cosmetic treatments.

Instructions:

Before application, heat a small portion of the mud to body temperature (max 40°C). Do not heat before use on dry and-or sensitive skin. Apply the mask evenly (2-3 mm) on clean skin and/or scalp. Prevent the mud from drying by using a water mist, foil, reusable facial mask, and/or shower cap. Rinse off the mud after 15 to 60 minutes. For the first time using Fresh Water Green Mud, it’s recommended to leave it on the skin for 10-15 min, and then gradually extend time up to 1 hour if necessary.

Freshwater Green Mud is a natural product that does not contain any preservatives. For this reason, we recommend storing it refrigerated. Use a clean spoon or spatula to scoop out the product into a separate bowl (before applying) to avoid cross-contamination and extend the shelf life.
