Gentle, non-abrasive enzyme peel based on freshwater green mud. The main active ingredient – enzyme exfoliant Keratoline – removes dead skin cells, stimulates the skin’s renewal process and provides a visibly smooth, more youthful appearance.
The exfoliant contains the special freshwater green mud extract that provides the skin with micro and macro elements, amino acids and vitamins. In addition, it has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Allantoin soothes and stimulates skin regeneration, panthenol moisturizes and nourishes, chamomile extract calms irritated skin.
MARENCE is a natural cosmetics brand inspired by the pristine northern European nature. All cosmetic care products are made from green freshwater mud also known as Sapropel. Sapropel is considered one of the most nutrient-rich and beneficial muds in the world. Reportedly, there is no equivalent substance; compared to mud from the Dead Sea, Sapropel is ten times richer in its composition. This makes its use popular in beauty salons and spa centers and in therapy of skin diseases, joint problems and sports injuries.
What is green freshwater mud / Sapropel?
Sapropel is an organic sedimentary slip formed at the bottom of still freshwater lakes. It consists mainly of remains of aquatic organisms such as algae and plants. Over a period of thousands of years, an organic sludge forms that is rich in minerals and vitamins such as vitamins C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, D, E, and P; rutin; natural antioxidants; lipids; enzymes; humic acids; fulvic acids; and amino acids that have positive effects on the body.
By combining nature’s green freshwater mud with modern technology and science, Marence has created natural cosmetics based on green freshwater mud extracts that have long-lasting effects at the cellular level. Also, MARENCE products do not contain sulfates, parabens and other harmful substances for the body.
Apply a generous layer of exfoliation to a clean, damp face. Gently massage into the skin for 5-10 minutes. For sensitive skin, this time can be reduced to 2-3 minutes. The product should not dry out on the skin; the enzymes are activating in a moist environment. Avoid getting product into the eyes. Remove any remaining excess with a wet washcloth or lukewarm water. To finish the treatment, you can apply Marence facial toner to restore the ph balance of the skin.
For oily and problematic skin, the peel can be used 2-3 times a week. For normal, combination and mature skin, it is sufficient to use the peel once a week. For dry and sensitive skin – once every 7-10 days. Enzyme peeling can be used all year round, the treatment is suitable for both toned and light skin.
